That’s a wrap on the Gadan US tour 2026. Between September 22 and October 4 we crossed the country from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest, and we are still smiling about how it went. Four of our shows were full houses or properly sold out, and we had the chance to play two incredible festivals: Sisters Folk Festival in Oregon and Lotus World Music and Arts Festival in Bloomington, Indiana.
Old friends and new faces in the crowd
Gadan is an Irish and Italian band with a strings only sound, and it features Enda Scahill, banjo player from We Banjo 3, Steve Martin Banjo Prize winner and All-Ireland champion. Many people came to the shows because they have followed Enda’s playing since his We Banjo 3 days, and it was great to meet so many of them. We also had lots of his students from Irish Banjo Lessons and his Patreon community in the crowd. Meeting you all in person after the gigs was one of the highlights of the trip.
Thank you!
A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, sang along, picked up a CD or a t-shirt and stopped to say hello. Thanks also to the promoters, venues, sound engineers, volunteers and hosts who looked after us on the road. We know how much work goes on behind the scenes, and we really appreciate it.
Gadan returns to the US in January and February 2027
The good news is that we are not away for long. Gadan will be back in the United States in January and February 2027 for another run of concerts, and we will share the dates very soon. To be the first to know, keep an eye on the Gadan website and sign up to our newsletter!
See you on the road!
